Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Laura received her bachelor's degree in Photocommunications from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She has exhibited some of her work in shows in Austin, Texas and Thailand, where she has permanently displayed work around the country. Her documentary project of Rice Cultivation was published in an academic journal in May 2015. Laura has also worked in graphic design projects for more than seven years as a freelancer. She currently works in advertising and resides in Austin, Texas.
